About It's a JOY

With over a decade of event planning experience I am well equipped for any situation. I never thought that when my husband kissed me at the end of the aisle I would have to turn a very serious incident, my 'lemons', into lemonade. My philosophy is that the events I run should be fun for everyone involved, so I cater not just to guests, but to their hostesses too. When you invite me to coordinate your event, you will have the comfort of knowing that you, my client, can let go, relax and enjoy your special day knowing that those 'little details' are in my capable hands.

Whether your event is a grand gala for hundreds of people or a handful of your nearest and dearest in your living room, you can count on me to ensure that everything runs just as you envisioned for you and your guests. I have experience in running successful events that are large, small, and everything in between. Whatever the size of your event, it will be 'just right' for you.

My experience has also given me an intuitive sense of how to set the tone of your event. I have coordinated weddings, dinner parties, showers, benefits, casual backyard barbeques, girl’s nights out and small gatherings in my client’s homes, to name a few examples.

After consulting with you and establishing the tone that you envision for your event, I will research and present a range of carefully-chosen options that will set the mood for your event, from venue to food and drink, to favours, decorations, activities and more. Rest assured that if you have any 'lemons' show up I will be sure to turn them into lemonade.
